Israel MedicUp is investing in novel Medtech being developed at Rambam Health Care Campus. After a year of remote conferencing and consulting, the group’s leadership Victor Fraenkel, Chaim Shapira and Yochanan Bukshpan were able to join Rambam’s Director General Michael Halberthal and the innovators leading our portfolio companies for hands-on updates and technology demonstrations.

A Year of Development
We are pleased to announce that the group marked the end of 2020 with licensing agreements for three groundbreaking technologies developed at the Rambam Health Care Campus.
COVID-19 restrictions did not allow us to celebrate these milestones in person, but we stepped right in to initiate progress developing the technologies. In parallel, we continue our collaboration with Rambam to identify additional potential investments while also investigating other avenues for technology investment.
Making a Mark
In February 2020, Israel MedicUp investment group signed a strategic partnership agreement with Israel’s Rambam Hospital (Rambam Health Care Campus).
General Director of Rambam, Dr. Michael Halberthal, together with Israel MedicUp founders Rabbi Chaim Shapira and Yochanan Bukshpan and investor Avigdor Frankel marked the event with a tour of the hospital departments and the large parking lot that is equipped to be converted into a safe ward in event of emergency and which became the hospital’s COVID-19 ward.
The signing marked the beginning of a productive collaboration enabling innovation transformation that will make a mark on the future of advanced medicine.
