Prof. Rafael (Rafi) Beyar
World-renowned cardiologist and cardiology researcher. Prof. Beyar is a graduate of Tel Aviv University’s Medical School, holds a doctorate in Medical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and a master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. After serving as Dean of the Medical faculty at the Technion, he led the Interventional Cardiology Unit at the Rambam Health Care Campus and served as Rambam’s CEO. He founded InStent, acquired by Medtronic; Corindus, acquired by Siemens; Rambam MedTech; and the MindUP incubator.
